IT Governance Best Practices, Just a Few

This session will review data on how different school systems manage their IT and contrast this with the best practices identified in CoSN’s framework Digital Leap Success Matrix.
This session will tap into two CoSN data sets to illustrate observed practice:
• Data collected annually as a part of the CoSN State of EdTech Leadership Report.
• Data collected as a part of its nationwide Peer Review program which reviews school district IT practice and compares it to best practices. This data is most often used for long term planning purposes, but it is also helpful in assisting under-resourced district to prioritize their needs.
