Unfinished Business: The Digital Access Divide in American Schools

Project Tomorrow in collaboration with Spectrum Enterprise will release this year a series of 3 reports leveraging Speak Up Research results to examine the state of the digital access, digital use and digital design divides in K-12 education through the eyes and experiences of students and teachers. Using the 2024 National Educational Technology Plan as the foundation, this session provides new national research findings on students’ access to digital learning devices at home and in the classroom, students’ access to online and digital learning content in the classroom, and the obstacles that may be inadvertently inhibiting effective digital learning experiences for all students. Session attendees will receive access to the first report in the series and additional resources to support a comprehensive evaluation of your own district’s digital access readiness.
