Dr. Molly Stewart is the Director of the INsite Consortium at Indiana University, which helps member school districts become (more) interoperable by implementing the Ed-Fi Data Standard and related technologies. Current projects include collaborating with district partners and technical vendors to develop data visualizations that meet the needs of users at multiple levels; conducting regular literature reviews for best practices in relevant areas such as early warning indicators and measurement; and partnering with stakeholders in various sectors on collaborative projects that improve both the function and utilization of education technologies particularly regarding data management and interoperability. As an academic, she is more generally interested in the intersections among policy, organizational patterns, individual sense-making, and technology in K-12 education. In addition to consortium leadership, she has previously served as an educational program evaluator and has taught courses in education policy, program evaluation, and research methods.
