AnnMarie Lehner

K-12 Business Development & Strategy Leader

Annmarie Lehner is the K-12 Business Development and Strategy Leader at AWS where she leads a team of Business Development Managers who are influencing major policies and engaging primary education institutions as they consider cloud platforms to drive down costs and innovate their Districts. Prior to joining AWS, Annmarie worked in technology and leadership roles in K12 Public Education for more than 30 years, serving for more than 10 years as the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) and Chief of Staff to the Superintendent of Schools at the Rochester City School District (RCSD) in NY.

Across the many years Annmarie has worked within the technology field, she has served as a member of both national and NYS technology committees and organizations including the Council of Great City Schools, the NYSED’s Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC), The NYS Online Learning Subcommittee, and Microsoft’s K12 Advisory Committee.
During her career, Annmarie received national and regional awards including the 2018 School Administrators Association of NYS (SAANYS) ‘Leader in Digital Education’ Award, the 2018 ‘Supervision’ Award for the Genesee Valley Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), as well as the 2019 Council of Great City Schools CIO of the year.
