Keenan Sloan

Director of Strategic Programming and Innovation
Memphis Shelby County Schools

Now entering his third year as Director of Strategic Programming and Innovation for Memphis-Shelby County Schools (110,000 students), Keenan Sloan leads a team of citizen developers in the Division of Academics and School Support. He and his team have deployed low-code/no-code solutions in Power Platform applications, automation, and analytics for a diverse range of district business needs. These include behavior intervention, instructional coaching, federal and state compliance, charter school scoring cycle management, PMO management and many others. Additionally, Keenan and all members of his team come from educational backgrounds outside of IT, and are completely self-taught as developers and solution architects. His professional interests include process improvement, organizational development and change management for sustainable growth. His personal passions include travel, woodworking, game design, and songwriting.
