Mike Mahanay (he/him/his)

Mike Mahanay is the Vice President of Business Development and Government Affairs at CTL, where he leads the company's public sector strategic planning and business development, developing government relationships, managing policy advocacy, regulating impact, and navigating policy. He also leads the company’s BidDesk to develop public sector RFP proposals and negotiate contracts.

Mike has more than 20 years of international sales and marketing, leadership, and brand management experience. He previously served as CMO and Interim CRO at CTL, leading the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and E-commerce organizations at one of the leading US Education Chromebook brands.

He graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. double major in economics and psychology, holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, and received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with concentrations in marketing and finance. Mike has a passion for the transformative potential of technology in education and has served as both a Trustee and the Chair of the Western Oregon University Foundation.
