Matt Penner

Matt Penner is the Director of Information and Instructional Technology for the Val Verde Unified School District. In this role of 12 years he is passionate about building teams that thrive on exceeding expectations. As a frequent presenter at education and commercial conferences he is a thought leader engaged in improving the awareness of IT as a core member of the organizational leadership team.

Matt is a CITE Certified Chief Technology Officer and is proud to serve on the CITE Board as Director at Large.

Matt's other passion is his family where he enjoys time with his wife of 22 years and their three children, being involved in their church, martial arts, sports, playing music, gaming and watching anime with his daughter.
