Tim Wease has 19 years of experience in K-12 IT support, dedicated to advancing the impact and accessibility of technology resources around North Carolina. Having held key positions such as Chief Technology Officer for Cleveland County Schools and Network Analyst for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) where he consistently demonstrated commitment to innovation and efficiency in educational technology.
During his time as Chief Technology Officer, Tim led initiatives to standardize staff devices, successfully implementing the district's first One-to-One Program, and significantly upgrading network capacity throughout the district. He is currently the Director of the NC K-12 Cybersecurity Program for DPI where he focuses efforts on enhancing cybersecurity awareness, strategic planning, and response mechanisms for K-12 institutions in North Carolina. He is an active member of the North Carolina Education Technician Conference Board and other professional organizations.
