Gary Lackey is the Director of Cybersecurity for Goose Creek CISD in Baytown, TX and has spent 18 years working in both Higher Education and K-12. He is the Co-Chair of the CoSN Cybersecurity Advisory Committee and holds the certifications of CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, CETL, RTSBA, GSLC, GXPN, GSEC, GPEN, GCFE, CCRE and GCWAPT. He helped to lead Goose Creek CISD to become the 5th district in Texas to obtain the TLE Seal. Gary has spoken at Texas Information Security Forum, Houston Security Conference, TCEA, TASBO, as well as CoSN.
