Tom Ingram is the Director of Information Technology for Escambia County Public Schools in Pensacola, Florida. He has been a teacher, technology professional, and educational technology leader for over 30 years. He feels passionate about the importance of education and the role technology plays in engaging students. He believes that education can be a transformational experience and that our major role as educational technology professionals is to provide modern technology to engage students and encourage them to experience the opportunities provided by a quality education. His current professional interests include protecting student data and implementing data governance.
He has a B.A. in Latin from Florida State University, a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida. He is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) and TrustED Apps Certfied Leader (TACL). In his spare time, he likes to travel with his family.
